Files  from  the  Federal  Bureau of Investigation

The FBI is  primarily  for domestic investigations by  the Attorney General, but it also works closely together with other agencies in safe-guarding of national security, in cooperation with several other federal agencies.

Bellow you will find  copies of documents  pertaining directly to the FBI investigations for celebrities, and of criminals and crimes. They were only obtainable from reluctant officials after a long process of filing on behalf of the Freedom of Information Act.

Some of these documents shed insightfuls, yet sometimes unflattering light on the workings of our federal agencies, including not only the FBI, but the DEA, ATF, IRS and CIA as well.

If you're into action and intrigue, you may also want to check out my True Crime, CIA Files and Conspiracy pages, to name a few.

Elvis FBI Files

$ 9.95 USD

Here are 777 copies of actual FBI transcripts of an incident which started on 27 November, 1959. On that day, Elvis, while in the military in Bad Nauheim, Germany, hired Griessel-Landau to make skin therapy. However, during these treatments, which  took place in the singer's quarters, the man had made several homosexualpasses at Elvis and his friends from the Memphis Mafia. According to the FBI files, on 24 December 1959 Presley decided to discontinue the skin treatments. At the time that he told Griessel-Landau of this decision he also thoroughly censured Griessel-Landau for embarrassing him ... This drove Griessel-Landau into rage and he decided to extort sums of money from the singer or to ruin his career. The case was referred to the FBI. Elvis "was interviewed on 28 December 1959 concerning his complaint that he was the victim of blackmail..." According to the FBI files, Griessel-Landau "threatened to expose Presley by photographs and tape recordings which are alleged to present Presley in compromising situations." An investigation determined that Griessel Landau was not a medical doctor.

Marilyn Monroe FBI Files

$ 6.95 USD

Over 100 pages of files copied from FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C., that the Bureau has on Marilyn Monroe. This file contains accounts of publicity about Miss Monroe's alleged affairs and speculation about the circumstances surrounding her death. The files shows the FBI was interested in keeping up with what Walter Winchell was saying about her life and death in his articles and shows. The Bureau showed great interest when Monroe began to date Arthur Miller, a man FBI memos say was connected to 29 Communist organizations. Some heavily redacted pages show the FBI still maintain information on Monroe it deems not fit to be released to the public. Some blacked out memos are possible indications of surveillance efforts.

Charles Manson FBI Files

$ 4.95 USD

FBI files of Charles Milles Manson, who led what became known as the Manson Family, a quasi-commune that arose in California in the late 1960s. He was convicted of conspiracy to commit the Tate/LaBianca murders, carried out by members of the group at his instruction. He was found guilty of the murders themselves through the joint-responsibility rule, which makes each member of a conspiracy guilty of crimes his fellow conspirators commit in furtherance of the conspiracy's object.  After Manson was charged with the crimes, recordings of songs written and performed by him were released commercially. Artists including Guns N' Roses and Marilyn Manson have covered his songs in the decades since. Manson's death sentence was automatically reduced to life imprisonment when a 1972 decision by the Supreme Court of California temporarily eliminated the state's death penalty.
