Armed ConflictConflict carried on by force of arms, as between nations as between nations or between parties within a nation, has been taking place since the dawn of mankind.
Armed fighting, as a science, profession, activity, or art is the soldier's business. Methods of waging armed conflict have been planed and perfected since before man could read or write. Bellow you will find books an all sorts of wars, from all sorts of different times. Dont' forget to check out the Nazis as well, considering they had really turned war, killing and extermination into a science.
It seems as if man will never learn, considering World War I was called, "The War to End All Wars", but with WWII following only a few years later. Since these two "Great Wars" there have been countless other "armed conflicts", including but not limited to the Korean, Vietnam, Bosnia, Sumalia, Iraq and Afganistan wars to name a few. However our leaders must be careful, since any war during this age of nuclear weapons could be our last. |
